Abstract
As a problem statement, for this interactive project for the discipline of Interaction Design, we consider focusing on the area of Post-Human & H+, specifically in a vision of an anticipation of how the new creation of a "new body", for human beings in the days to come, betting for improvements of the human condition, associating ideas like, longer life time/immortality and also objectification of the body. As objectives for this project, we present the benefits as well as the disadvantages in an indirect way of this supposed reality. We try in the project to show a certain awareness in the ethical and moral sense of the philosophy of human life, creating a kind of sarcasm/irony of this utopia (utopian life/utopian human being) that is unreachable. There is indeed a break from the post-modernist/humanist human to post-humanist and transhumanist human where technology becomes the focus for our development, thus showing this evolution of the human being and his capabilities. This new idea that the human being is not at the center of the universe (humanism) and that he himself is interconnected with the environment he is surrounded by, as well as things (animals, objects, technology, etc...) and the connection he makes with these elements and the influence he holds. Also again, the idea of the objectification of the body, being able to show the countless possibilities of what a body is and how it could be changed. The project is developed in a digital platform focused on a virtual-visual experience and of great ironic awareness, that lets the user think about the theme. Thus, a kind of platform of personalization issues in the creation of bodies for housing (body change) was created in two phases: in a first phase, physical creation, with new technologies emerging from genetics or cyborgs (human-robotic anatomy) or beauty/gender. In a second phase of mind uploading, where memories and consciousness will be uploaded into the body so that the user can inhabit it. For this it was necessary to do a pre-study to the invited users, through a questionnaire made to the users themselves regarding this whole theme. |
